Hi! My name is November (yeah, it’s actually November). ActuallyNovember is a self-run microbakery based in Los Angeles, California.

Food was my first love, and we're still going strong to this day. I started cooking as young as 5 years old, but baking piqued my interest at around 12 and the obsession catapulted from there. I watched every episode of cake boss and took on countless opportunities to bake cakes for friends. I started taking my love for baking seriously in my teens & had the privilege of beginning my professional training in London, England at various restaurants and bakeries at age 14. In August of 2019, I received my diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts from the New School of Cooking in Pasadena. Since then, I've been honing my craft and have found my own unique way of expressing love and joy through food. In addition to being a pastry chef, I love to create unique dishes of all kinds.

After years of restaurant experience as a line cook, pastry chef, and cake designer, in 2023 I decided to take a break from the restaurant world to recalibrate and decide what it is that truly brings me joy. I went back to London, traveled throughout the summer, and regained my love for playing with food as well as bringing people together through it. I came back to LA early 2024 with the love and refreshment of my travels in tow. I decided to get back to cooking for people, but this time in a way that fulfills me as well as the people I feed. Currently that includes private chef work, catering events, and selling my creations on here. In the future I hope to host events around food as well as publish cherished recipes in the form of a cookbook (or two)!

I really admire the magic of nature and I aim to illuminate that with my food. It is my dream to one day own a farm where I can grow wonderful and unique foods to share with my community!
